Yaesu VX-1R, Cute and Tiny Transceiver

This is the smallest handy-talkie once been in market for few years ago.... Now , this little cutie are discontinued from production and so with the original battery pack. The only i can find in the E-bay was FNB-51Li....the aftermarket battery pack. I'm also have this handy-talkie, but unlucky for me ,until now it hard to find the battery pack for my handy. Also , i tried to search on web for Alkaline Battery Case for Yaesu VX-1R.....FBA-20. This one also hard to find now. I hope anyone do know or can help me to get this two accessories , i will much appreciated, at least , my handy will be usefull not just for display on my private collection, but also can work again for me.

This are photos of my homebrew repeaters and using homebrew controller...The controller needs some mods and this will be setup for trial end of this month. Need more time and just waiting for suitable DC power supplies and the ventilating fan to be added for final assembly...After suceedeed, i will post again in  working order of this homebrew repeaters..Stay tune...73's

p/s: Using Motorola GM300 and also , will built one more interfaces to work with 2 Motorola SM 50.

This is inner parts of my damage main rotating gear for my Antenna Rotator Yamato YS-130....My Antenna is Sirio 27-3, 3 Element Yagi CB Band, mods for workout on 10mtr Band. This is good rotator ...but this rotator , i got from used  seller in Indonesia, sad but the truth is, it work as far as i know , don't have much problem, but in some cases, the rotator won't rotate at certain direction..When this rotator start making problem, when some cases it won't rotate anymore, thus i decide to open this to find out what has happened to my rotator.   Wow, when open it, look at that geat, it torn out really bad...Thus i wonder, this seller sell the really bad item and convince me that rotator still worked normally , without  problem. Now, when this happened to me,that's tell me that some cases, better buy from trusted seller and also don't trust too much from the seller. Some seller are very responsible on the item that being sold...some want to cheat you and take advantage from you...beware guys..

Anyway, do anyone know where do i get parts for this gear, or any foundry shop can make replacement for this gear...Hope to hear a good news from all Ham members of the world...It seem i need a replacement for my sick rotator...Please... i need it before time running out for my target to join in for the second time upcoming contest ..CQ WW WPX....73 folks...c u again

Arc Spark From Antennas Feeder Lines

Wheather changing rapidly from sunny day to cloudy and suddenly heard strange noises came from my feeder cable box , and suddenly a small arc came out from the connector. Maybe this what we call Electricstatic charge....maybe this one also can damage your radios??

Hi to all my blog readers... Today i want to ask and share the knowledge , about which is the suitable filters to use for Icom Transceiver IC-706mk IIG. For my search for suitable filters , i have found 2 SSB Wide Filter, 1) FL-103, SSB 9Mhz Wide Band and 2) FL-223 9kHz Narrow Band filter, but i didn't know which one suitable for my Transceiver. Especially when working on 10mtr band , which sometime , the noise of the band will interrupted my listening on the band to search for low/weak station. Anyone who have some experience, can share with me via this blog. You're most welcome to gave advice and share your experience on using such filters. Thanks FL-223 Filter FL-103

Hot air blower, rework station

I'm in need to replace my Hot Air Blower / Rework Station due to defect on blower pump. Look at some type cheapo chinese made rather then Japanese made like Hakko rework station. and, at the end, i choose this Taiwanese made, Pro's kit to be my new rework station, to replace my old and malfunctioning rework station .

Ruggedized Military Radio Collection

My dream of ruggedized, Military radio, antique and rare. That my special ambitious to restore, catalogued and also categorized the military radio which included the specification and which war had this rare and antique radio been used in. I don't know whether all this rare radio can be collected as a personnel collection or anyone who want to donate such rare and antique military radio . I'm keep dreaming to have my own collection of that kind of radios.....Hope my dream will come true one day...
